Delicate Arch - Upper Viewpoint

Delicate Arch is the remains of an ancient fin - or fossilized sand dune. The elements have carved it in Entrada Sandstone, mostly Slick Rock Member. The cap is a five foot layer of Moab Tongue. The opening is about 45' high and 33' wide. Now we'll leave the overlooks and go to the trailhead.
